Nov 15 2018 I'LL MISS THE FIRST SNOW STORM! NOT! PICCategory: General     02:34PM   0

Hello Darlings,

I'm in Norcross, outside Atlanta now.  A balmy 43.  I'm missing 28 at home and snow on the way tomorrow.  It's looking like no stops in Valdosta and if I don't have a morning assignation I just might make it to the nudie resort tomorrow evening.  Google maps says it's 7 hours and 52 minutes but I'll be damned if I've ever made it in that time.

I do 7-8 over the speed limit. Sometimes less.  But I'm in Georgia and they have a well earned reputation for busting out of state folks for speeding.  So I"ll probably keep it to 5 over.  Of course, everyone else will be blowing me off the road.

It's been a long, tiring drive down this time.  Except for today I've been in the car 7-8 hours each day. Tuesday, the BWI/Baltimore to Raleigh drive was added to because I-495 south was shut down  north of DC.  Yeppers, detour on 295 around the city.  Royal pain in the butt....but...nothing you can do about it.  I know everything there is to know about Brexit and the negotiations,  the wild fires on BBC, politics in the US..sickening and more listening to Sirius. When I need a bright spot I listen to Joel Osteen for a show or two.  Music in the car just doesn't work for me on a long drive.  I go to sleep.

Raleigh was a bust business wise.  I must of had 30-40 inquiries but no takers.  I guess my northern charm didn't win them over.  I could tell they did not like the idea of screening.  You can hear it in someone's voice the moment they don't like something or lose interest.  The promised Reserve Me page never arrived.

I stayed in  Crabtree and my hotel was filled to the roof, mostly with evacuees from hurricane Matthew.  We forget.....none of these folks have homes yet.  It was also the most expensive this trip.  When I think of their loss, the folks in the fires in California I have absolutely NOTHING to bitch about.

A visit to Fayetteville yesterday morning and an old friend made up for Raleigh. On to Greenville and another long time beloved friend visiting and a new one this morning made it more then fun.  Atlanta is only 130 miles from Greenville so after my morning romp I did not have to scramble to get to my next adventure here as I have all week.

I marvel that I used to be on the road criss crossing the US for two weeks at a time.  Or months at a time in Europe.  But I was a lot younger and I didn't mind lugging the bags and running around like a woman possessed.  Now.....I do.  I'm SO looking forward to my  comfy home in Land O Lakes and my pillow. LOL

I have no regrets.  I was blessed to be able to travel extensively, make a fabulous living and meet fascinating folks wherever I went.  Now it's all just scaled down a bit but still exciting and fun.

Although I will confess I've thought about how nice it would be to have a helpmate and companion with all of this from time to time.  As long as I didn't have to get married. Having my son helping me this past weekend and being company was really nice.

I'm going to one of my favorite places for dinner tonight.  Pappadeaux's.  It's a fun clientele and they all dress to the nines.  I absolutely love it.

Tampa is 66 tonight.  That's still better then the snow and 32 tomorrow morning in Albany.

Life is good!

Your VERY Naughty Girlfriend, Goddess and GILF,

Legs that go on forever.
